Abilities; As a shaman, Natan can see spirits and communicate with the dead. Natan is also bonded to a snake spirit, his power animal, that he can transform into a staff or a whip.

Brief History; Natan is the son of what remains of the Iroquois Nation in upstate New York. An only child, Natan lived his life in relative poverty alongside his mother, a public school teacher, and his father, an unemployed and former construction worker.
When Natan was nine years old, his parents took him to a camping trip at Lake Michigan in Illinois. As Natan and his father explored a forest, the young Natan stumbled upon a small river. Curious, Natan stuck his hand inside it and was bitten by a cottonmouth moccasin. Natan became poisoned by the snakebite and collapsed, to his father's horror.
The strange thing about the bite was that the moccasin suddenly died after it bit young Natan. And by the time his father had taken Natan to a doctor, the poison had mysteriously vanished within his bloodstream, almost like it had never been there.
That was when Natan's powers surfaced. He had inherited the powers of the shamans, the Native American medicine men from the past. The moccasin bonded to Natan upon giving hhim the bite, becoming an extension of his soul.
Natan actually never knew he was a Seal until very, very recently. Natan received a phone call from someone claiming to see the future, proclaiming that "when one seal falls, another rises". A couple hours after that, Natan received an email serving as an invitation to an online community, and an enrollment in a local college in New York City.
Coincidence, much?
Personality; Natan is a carefree, don't-fuck-with me young man. Hee doesn't quite understand everything that's happening at the moment, but hey, he got a free enrollment into college, something he's never gotten to do in his life. As such, Natan jumps on any new opportunity he can, eager to do something new.
He also suffers from a slight drinking problem.
